Is a quote from a law enforcement and security professional participating in one of the workshops I presented a few years back on dangerous body language. In effect, the TSA would be requiring that people be *capable* of passing behavior tests before being allowed to fly. Aug 2, 2007 - Behavior profiling is absurd. Feb 3, 2013 - Behavioral analysis or profiling focuses on identifying human actions that are aberrant or out of context with the environment or situation. - Alvarez's and Garcia's body language tells us what's to - Boomer Esiason On Toucher & Rich: Brady's Body Langua - U.S. Apr 8, 2013 - When we heard about Carol Tuttle's book The Child Whisperer we were intrigued! The basis for the book is that every child expresses one (or more!) of four general patterns in their body language, behavior and personality. Mar 24, 2014 - The Transportation Security Administration has spent some $1 billion training thousands of “behavior detection officers” to look for facial expressions and other nonverbal clues that would identify terrorists. The online course emphasizes that racial and ethnic profiling is not tolerated. A criminal about to carry out an armed robbery or an assault will exhibit behavior that is different The next component is to develop a basic understanding of body language to more readily interpret the behavior of the person in question. Aug 22, 2012 - The Transportation Security Administration is ordering officers nationwide to undergo retraining because of reports of racial profiling at several airports — The agency will order behavior-detection officers — those trained to identify potential threats using cues like body language and eye contact — to take a refresher course in the program's core principals, a TSA spokesperson said. Nov 15, 2013 - Diane Craig, an executive trainer with Corporate Class Inc., joins Hannah Sung to discuss how Ford's body language, and that of those around him, are conveying a sense of lost power. Mar 12, 2012 - The book, available as an eBook now and in paperback in a few weeks, details the latest research on profiling, the newest technologies in detecting terrorism and the ways in which the body language and “tells” of terrorists offer clues to their actions. I would hope that when they train people to spot suspect body language they also teach them about odd body language that is due to a developmental disability, mental illness, medical condition ETC. Their job is to monitor passenger body language to identify risks and, according to TSA spokesperson Greg Soule, more than 2,000 arrests have been made based on the observation of suspicious behaviors. They observe a subject's body language, facial expressions, words and actions to attempt to determine whether the person's intent is malicious or benign. That is NOT the same as requiring that those people be non-terrorists. This is behavioral based security and is used to of their behavioral profiling.
